She got a 5 for her biology which we are delighted with and also she got the apprenticeship despite there being over 20

I received my grades this morning and managed a 6 in English and a 5 in Maths. Better than I expected.

 I got a 6 six in maths this has led me to think about maths at a level, do you think I would be capable?

I received my results and was very pleased; a 7 in Biology, and a 6 in Chemistry. Again, I'd like to say a huge thank you for all your help last year, and I have decided to stick with my decision to do Biology and Chemistry at A-Level. Therefore, I would very much like to continue my tutoring with you.

Do you have an vacancies? If so, I would love to start again soon.

I would very much like to do more Chemistry this year, as I feel it is going to be quite challenging.

Just wanted to let you know that Izzy got a grade 4 in Maths! She was 2 marks off a grade 5 so her teacher has requested that it be re-marked to see if it can be pushed up to a 5. Either way I’m thrilled and also with her overall grades ( 4 B’s and 4 C’s) including 2 C’s for science!

I know Jordan has sent you an email but Neil & I also wanted to thank you for helping him obtain those results.

Ideally I think he would have liked a couple As & a few more Bs in there - but obtaining 10 GCSEs in the year they decided to change them is no mean feat! We are very proud of him.

Summer 2016

Hi Kevin

Been a bit stressful. He got a C in English Language, thank you, and was only a few marks off a B.  This was the story of his results.  His written exam was actually a B, his mark was pulled down by earlier course work. 

We have been speaking to school and they are happy that he has the ability to progress and he finally got to enrol on Thursday. He is doing Maths, economics, psychology and Theatre Studies.

All starts Monday.  

I hope it's ok,we did suggest to Monty that if he is struggling tell us and consider talking to you as a 'coach'.  He is confident at the moment but was also happy for this to be an option. Are you OK with this?

It is nice to meet you again. I got a D in AS Physics. My second exam was a very difficult paper and it really let me down. In my other two subjects, I got an A in AS Mathematics and a B in AS Chemistry.

Apologies for not contacting you sooner but we have been away on holiday.

Lewis did really well in his GCSE and he was particularly pleased with his Biology and Chemistry results,

Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Geography and Business Studies -  A

Physics, Eng, Eng Lit, Drama and Spanish -  B

He was one point away from an A* in Maths so the paper is being remarked, but overall he was very pleased.

I wasn't very confident doing GCSE Chemistry, however after achieving a good grade I decided to do the A Level.

Kevin has been really useful, giving me confidence and also helpful advise that really aids me in class. He explains ideas well and will be especially useful in A2 when the course gets harder.

Comments: Kevin has helped me tremendously with my exam technique. He immediately noticed that this was the pitfall I had, and helped me to develop a mind-set; to question what the examiner is trying to get from me and how to effectively assess what is required by each question as I go through a paper. Furthermore, he provided with detailed easy to understand summaries of key topics which he had assessed are common questions in the exam. Overall I can thoroughly recommend him.

However results aside you have given her the confidence back that was knocked, and that in itself is worth much more than a grade on paper.
